When you feel the stress building, take time out, go for a walk, slip into a movie, get a massage, go for a manicure, write in a journal, do something un-wedding. The trick of having an absolutely stress free wedding is planning, planning and more planning.

So relax, take a deep breath and remember, your goal is to get married to the person you love. You have been blessed with the gift of love, make the most of it. Planning a wedding is like a second job and can sometimes be an overwhelming experience, but it should not get in the way of enjoying the most magical day of your life. A Bride has to clarify the wedding she truly wants, try to stay centered and set clear boundaries that no one can penetrate with words or attitudes. Setting expectations that are too high will create stress and lead to frustration, and then more stress.

First of all, you've heard it before and you'll hear it again: don't fret over the small things. It is no wonder some women get depressed and get the bridal blues. Sometimes we forget about the sacred nature of the wedding ceremony. It gets lost in the emotional crossfire of the moment. You have to find the time to tend to a multitude of details as part of an already busy schedule while managing vendors, family anxieties and demands, your groom, your emotions and an array of tricky wedding dynamics.

Don't lose sight of your vision for your wedding. Setting a budget together, and sticking to it, will reduce your stress level. Make your wedding the day you always dreamed of special, unique and personal.
